J. Michael Hamilton

J. Michael Hamilton has held several legal roles throughout their career. J. Michael began their career as an Associate at Bracewell & Patterson, LLP in 1999, where they focused on commercial litigation and bankruptcy cases. J. Michael then joined Bracewell LLP as an Associate, where they represented plaintiffs and defendants in various federal and state litigation and arbitration cases.

In 2004, Hamilton transitioned to Atos, where they held several positions over the years. J. Michael first served as General Counsel - North America, providing legal counsel to the management team on all legal matters. J. Michael then advanced to the role of Head of Litigation & Deputy General Counsel - North America, where they reported to both the North American General Counsel and the Global Head of Litigation. In this role, they provided legal counsel on disputes and compliance matters, as well as overseeing all U.S. litigation.

Hamilton's final role at Atos was Senior Legal Counsel - Global Dispute Resolution, where they strategically managed litigation and disputes in common law countries where Atos operated. This included countries such as the US, UK, and India.

Most recently, Hamilton joined WorkTango Inc. as General Counsel in October 2020.

J. Michael Hamilton completed their high school education at Westfield High School in Houston, TX, from 1986 to 1990. J. Michael then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago, graduating in 1995. Subsequently, from 1996 to 1999, J. Michael Hamilton attended the University of Houston Law Center, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
