Virender Singh Kainth

Virender Singh Kainth has a diverse and extensive work experience. Virender Singh is currently a Co-Founder at WorkTogether since April 2023. Previously, they worked at Khatabook from January 2020 to July 2022, starting as the Chief of Staff (CEO's Office) and later transitioning to the role of VP Ops. At Khatabook, they played a key role in the company's growth, including leading the Product & Design teams, overseeing growth battles, contributing to fundraising and leadership hiring, and conducting org-wide appraisals.

Before Khatabook, Virender worked as AVP Strategy at ANAROCK from February 2018 to March 2019. Virender Singh also had a short stint as an External Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from February 2017 to May 2017.

In 2016, Virender co-founded Offscreen Media, where they worked as a Co-founder from June 2016 to December 2016. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Housing.com from November 2013 to June 2016, including AVP Operations and Senior Manager - Operations. At Housing.com, they led large teams, piloted and scaled revenue models, launched operations in new cities, and implemented technology solutions for exponential growth.

Virender's earlier experiences include being a Graduate Research Student & Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from May 2012 to June 2013 and working as an Intern at PV Cycle in 2012, where they built models and helped create a network of waste collection sites.

Virender Singh also had an internship at Levi Strauss & Co. in 2011, where they proposed changes in inventory recording systems and optimized storage space. Lastly, Virender was a Core Group Member of Mood Indigo, India's largest college cultural festival, where they led a team to strategize operations and successfully executed numerous events.

Virender Singh Kainth obtained their B.Tech. + M.Tech. degree in Energy Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Virender Singh attended the institute from 2008 to 2013.
