Marguerite Maher has worked in the recruitment and talent acquisition industry since 2006. Marguerite began their career at CPL Recruitment as a Recruitment Consultant (Project Management and Business Analyst). In this role, they qualified job roles, liaised and communicated with hiring managers and candidates, created and maintained job adverts, and sourced and screened candidates.
In 2008, Marguerite joined Mahers Sports as an Assistant Buyer, where they attended quarterly trade shows, identified current trends in the sports market, and maintained and managed relationships with suppliers. Marguerite also took on the role of Sales & Marketing Executive, where they were responsible for proactively looking for new sales opportunities, tailoring packages to suit the needs and budgets of customers, building and maintaining customer relationships, and meeting and exceeding sales targets. Marguerite was also responsible for digital marketing to help promote the business and its product offerings, devising and planning sports seminars, and identifying promotional opportunities.
In 2016, Marguerite joined Morgan McKinley as a Technology Recruitment Manager. Marguerite was later promoted to Associate Director, Technology Division, Morgan McKinley, and then to Director at Morgan McKinley. In 2021, they joined Workvivo as a Talent Acquisition Manager.
Marguerite Maher received a Masters of Business Studies (MBS) from University College Dublin in 2006, and a Bachelor of Business Studies from Munster Technological University.
