Aisha Johnson

Aisha Johnson, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Starting in 2000, they worked at Higgins Development Partners, LLC as a Project Development Accountant, handling daily transactions for real estate projects. Aisha then advanced to the role of Senior Accountant and later became an Accounting Manager, overseeing the restructuring of the accounting department and training new staff members. Aisha eventually became the Controller, responsible for the real estate accounting department and financial reporting.

In 2009, they joined UJAMAA CONSTRUCTION INC. as a Controller, reporting to the President/CEO and providing strategic and operational support. Aisha managed financial activities, HR, and office management.

From 2015 to 2017, Aisha worked as a Consultant at Ringold Financial Management Services Inc, offering CFO/Controller services, bookkeeping, and management consulting to clients.

Most recently, Aisha joined Focus in 2017 as an Accounting Manager and later advanced to the role of Controller. In February 2022, they took on the role of Director of Accounting.

Aisha Johnson, CPA, earned their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University in 2000. Aisha recently obtained the certification of Notary Public from the Jesse White Illinois Secretary of State in November 2021.
