Dorian Powell-Harris

Dorian Powell-Harris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement. Currently serving as an intern for Congressman Henry "Hank" Johnson, Powell-Harris also contributes as a Young Leader at the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, where efforts focus on bridging diverse professionals and fostering discussions on international issues. As a member of the Millennial Advisory Council at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, insights are provided to senior leaders on economic growth and critical issues. Powell-Harris has also held significant roles within Kennesaw State University's Student Government Association and the African American Male Initiative, advocating for student athletes and increasing enrollment and retention among Black men. Previous internships at WSB-TV provided foundational media skills. Educated at Kennesaw State University, Powell-Harris earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies.
