Alana M. Buenrostro

Alana M. Buenrostro has extensive experience in membership development, corporate partnerships, and program management in various organizations, particularly with the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth since July 2016. As Vice President of Membership and Development, Alana designed and managed a new department focused on increasing revenue through fundraising, memberships, grants, and events. Previously, as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Alana implemented a strategic fundraising initiative for numerous public policy sponsorships. Alana's career includes roles such as Director of Corporate Giving and Partnerships, Director of Programs, and Program Manager at the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where Alana launched initiatives to support entrepreneurs and enhance member engagement. Alana began the professional journey as a Public Affairs Intern at ROSS Communications and a Commercial Service Intern at the United States Embassy in Mexico City, following a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Southwestern University. Advanced studies continue at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
