James Fitzgerald

James Fitzgerald serves as the Head of Media Relations at the World Anti-Doping Agency since January 2018, overseeing the media relations team and collaborating with various departments to communicate important information regarding the global clean sport movement. Prior to this role, James held positions such as Senior Manager Media and Communications at WADA, Director at the Ireland Canada Chamber of Commerce, Senior Communications Manager at World Rugby, Communications Manager at the International Cricket Council, Cricket Correspondent at The Irish Times, and News Reporter/Sports Editor at Nationalist Newspapers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin, a Master's degree in Applied Communications from the University of Galway, and participation in the Erasmus Programme at Universidad de Granada.
