Magdalene Thomas

Magdalene Thomas currently serves as the Head of International Operations at the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, where responsibilities include managing the strategy and operations of five international World Centres, ensuring compliance with legislation, and delivering global programs. Prior experience includes working as Global Platform Manager for ActionAid Denmark, focusing on youth empowerment and activism, and holding various roles at Plan UK, including Youth and Girls' Rights Project Manager and Youth Engagement Advisor. Magdalene also contributed to international youth development through a role with VSO, where engagement with community groups in the UK and Zambia was key.
