Aarthi Sundaram

Aarthi Sundaram is a PhD researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft, focusing on multi-modelling methods that incorporate justice perspectives into energy transition as part of the JustETrans Project. Concurrently, Aarthi serves as a consultant with the Climate Change Group at the World Bank, contributing to country consultations through the use of microsimulation models to analyze climate-change induced vulnerabilities. Previous roles include research positions at Technische Universiteit Delft's TPM Resilience Lab, where Aarthi worked on resilience assessments for critical infrastructures in Amsterdam and a land-use model for climate impact studies. Aarthi has also been involved in teaching and policy research, including work with the Initiative for Sustainable Energy Policy and Ashoka University, reflecting a strong background in climate policy and sustainable energy. Aarthi holds a PhD in progress at Delft University, a Master's in Engineering and Policy Analysis, and has participated in a study abroad program at Warsaw University of Technology focused on energy technologies.
