Marta Maria Garcia Jauregui

AVP & Corporate Secretary at World Bank

Marta Maria Garcia Jauregui has worked in a variety of positions in their career thus far. Marta started out as an advisor in the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Spain. From there, they moved to the Spanish Competition Authority where they worked their way up to Sr. Advisor to the President. After leaving the Spanish Competition Authority, Jauregui took on the role of Advisor to the Corporate Secretary at the World Bank Group. In their current position as AVP & Corporate Secretary at the World Bank, Jauregui is responsible for a variety of tasks, including overseeing the work of the corporate secretary's office and acting as a liaison between the World Bank and its member states.

Marta Maria Garcia Jauregui has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Tecnico Comercial y Economista del Estado, similar to a Master of Economics, from the CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS COMERCIALES, CECO in Madrid.
