Martina Polasek

Deputy Secretary-General at World Bank

Martina Polasek is a Deputy Secretary-General. Ms. Polasek joined ICSID in September 2001.

Prior to joining ICSID, she worked as an attorney with the law firms of Jeantet & Associés in Paris, France (1997 – 1998) and White & Case LLP in Prague, Czech Republic (1998 – 2001).

Ms. Polasek holds degrees from The George Washington University Law School (LL.M.), University of Paris V – René Descartes (D.E.S.S.), and University of Gothenburg (Master of Laws). She is admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C.
