Desiree Rogers is a business executive and board member who has worked in a variety of industries including tourism, publishing, and insurance. Desiree is currently a board member at World Business Chicago. Rogers began their career in 2008 as a special assistant to the President and social secretary at the White House. Desiree then served as president of Allstate's social network from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, they became CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, LLC, where they worked until 2017. In May 2013, Rogers became chairman of Choose Chicago, a position they held until September 2019. During their tenure, they helped to increase visitation to Chicago to 55 million visitors and secured contracts for the NFL Draft, the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series Chicago, and the James Beard Foundation Awards.
Desiree Rogers has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and Economics Minor from Wellesley College, and has completed the Women and Power Program at Harvard Kennedy School.
