Laureen Wamaitha is a skilled project assistant at World Concern, focusing on health leadership, project management, partnership, and the coordination of health gender programs and advocacy since April 2020. Previously, Laureen served as a community development officer, implementing WASH, economic empowerment, and health initiatives while organizing community dialogue meetings. In addition to volunteer roles at Zero Street Child Foundation and International Humanity Foundation, Laureen held positions as a country coordinator team representative for IYAFP Canada and a public management leader at the Young African Leadership Initiative. Laureen completed a Bachelor's degree in Food Nutrition and Dietetics at Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Global Health at Kenya Methodist University.
