Elissa McCarter LaBorde is currently the President & CEO of World Council of Credit Unions. Previously, Elissa served as the Chief Executive Officer of Vitas Group, A Global Communities Enterprise, where Elissa played a key role in launching and driving the organization's strategy. Elissa also held the title of Vice President at Global Communities, managing activities in micro, small, and medium enterprise and housing finance. With a background in development finance and microfinance, Elissa has a strong track record of leadership and strategic oversight in the financial services sector.
