Thabo Pase

Thabo Pase is an Audit Specialist at SARS and has served as a Post Clearance Audit Expert at the World Customs Organization since January 2017. In this role, Thabo Pase supports member administrations in implementing Post Clearance Audit controls in alignment with the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and the Revised Kyoto Convention, along with other related WCO instruments. Thabo Pase contributes to the development of training and workshop materials aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and consistency of WCO’s in-country PCA support. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Internal Audit and a Higher National Diploma in Internal Auditing from Nelson Mandela University, as well as two Postgraduate Degrees in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Africa, focusing on both General Management and Internal Audit.
