Alem Tedeneke has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alem began their career at Me to We as the Director of International Trips from September 2002 to August 2004. Alem then joined Free The Children as the Program Director for two years from 2004 to 2006. In 2011, Alem worked at NORTH45 Communication Design PLC as the Communication Director. Alem then joined the International Labour Organization as a Communication Consultant in 2009, where they stayed until 2013. Currently, Alem is employed at World Economic Forum, where they started as a Media Specialist in December 2013 and later became the Media Lead in July 2018.
Alem Tedeneke attended Trent University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Development and French Literature. They later pursued higher education at Columbia University from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Communication.
