Dr. Roopa Dhatt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in medicine and global health leadership. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University and a Hospitalist at both MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital, Dr. Dhatt specializes in adult inpatient medicine. In addition, Dr. Dhatt holds the title of Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and has been the Executive Director of Women in Global Health since March 2015, focusing on gender equality in global health leadership. Previous roles include a Visiting Researcher at the University of Miami, an Internist at Kaiser Permanente, and a Partnerships Consultant for the World Bank. Dr. Dhatt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, an MD from Temple University, and a Master of Public Administration from Sciences Po.
