Emily Poyser

Emily Poyser is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications across various high-profile organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications Partnering & Planning at the World Economic Forum since November 2022, Emily oversees editorial, planning, social media, and leadership communications while building a new strategic communications team. Previous roles include Trustee at Sculpt, Associate Director of Communications (Interim) at the Royal College of Nursing, and Deputy Director (GCS International) at the Cabinet Office. Emily has led communications initiatives for UNICEF UK and held significant positions in the UK government, including a Senior Press Officer role during the 2014 NATO Summit and Head of Press Afghanistan for DFID. Educational qualifications include a BA Honors in Management and Marketing from Birmingham City University and a CIPR Diploma in Public Relations from Cambridge Marketing College.
