Jagjit Singh Srai

Jagjit Singh Srai is a seasoned expert in supply chain and manufacturing, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Council on the Future of Advanced Manufacturing and Production at the World Economic Forum since January 2019. With a robust academic background, Srai has held multiple significant roles at the University of Cambridge, including Director of Research, Co-Chair of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Global Food Security, and Head of the Centre for International Manufacturing since April 2002. Additionally, Srai is the Director of IfM Engage, a consultancy focused on supply chain services, and serves as Managing Director at WOLFCAM LIMITED since October 2009. Previous experience includes various executive roles at Unilever spanning from 1986 to 2003, where responsibilities included Supply Chain Director and Technical Director. Educational achievements consist of a PhD in Supply Network Configuration and an MPhil in International Supply Chain from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Process Engineering from Aston University.
