Johannes le Coutre

Johannes le Coutre is a Professor of Food and Health at UNSW since October 2019 and serves as the Founding Editor In Chief for Frontiers in Nutrition. Additionally, Johannes is a member of the Expert Network at the World Economic Forum and held the position of Visiting Professor at Imperial College London from March 2017 to January 2020. Previous roles include leadership positions at Nestlé, where responsibilities included Head of Program and Head of Perception Physiology from 2000 to September 2019, and University Lecturer at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from 2009 until September 2019. Johannes also served as a Visiting Professor at The University of Tokyo from 2009 to 2016. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biophysics from Max Planck Institute for Nutrition Physiology and a Diploma in Biology from the University of Regensburg, supplemented by executive education at UCLA, Singularity University, and London Business School.
