Juliana Segura-Salazar

Council Member, Global Future Council On The Future Of Responsible Resource Use at World Economic Forum

Juliana Segura-Salazar is a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland since March 2022 and serves as a Council Member for the Global Future Council on the Future of Responsible Resource Use at the World Economic Forum since May 2023. In addition, Juliana holds the position of Honorary Research Associate and previously worked as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London since January 2019. Prior research experience includes a Research Assistant role at Laboratório de Tecnologia Mineral from 2013 to 2018 and positions as a Quality Auditor and Research Trainee at Fanalca S.A from June 2008 to January 2011. Juliana holds a PhD and an MSc in Metallurgical Engineering, specializing in Extractive Metallurgy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, completed between 2014 and March 2021, and 2011 to 2014, respectively. Juliana completed a degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidad del Valle (CO) from 2002 to 2008.
