Mara Sandoval

Head Of Creative Direction at World Economic Forum

Mara Sandoval has accumulated extensive work experience over the years. Mara began their career in 1998 as a Graphic Designer at Hallmark Cards Inc, where they worked until 2003. In 2004, they joined UNICEF as a Senior Designer and remained in that role until 2011. After that, Mara became the Owner and Creative Director of CIAN Agency, where they focused on using photography to promote various causes until 2012.

Since 2012, Mara has been involved with the World Economic Forum in various roles. Mara started as a Visual Communication Manager and later became the Design and Creative Lead. In 2018, they were promoted to Head of Design and Interaction, and as of June 2021, they hold the position of Head of Creative Direction.

Mara Sandoval's education history begins with their enrollment at the International School of Geneva, although the exact years are not provided. Mara then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley from 1990 to 1994.
