Maximilian Martin, Ph.D., is a recognized expert in philanthropy and social innovation, currently serving as a Member of the Global Future Council on the Future of Philanthropy for Climate and Nature at the World Economic Forum. As the Global Head of Philanthropy at Lombard Odier Group, Maximilian has significantly contributed to the firm’s philanthropic initiatives and wealth management services. In addition, Maximilian is the founder of Impact Economy, a global investing firm, and a creator of the Apparel Innovation Consortium, aimed at promoting sustainable practices in the textile industry. With extensive experience as an author and board member across various organizations, including SwissFoundations and The Womanity Foundation, Maximilian focuses on empowering social and environmental impact through innovative business strategies. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Economic Anthropology from the University of Hamburg and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
