Nermeen Louizi Ghoniem

Nermeen Louizi Ghoniem has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Nermeen Louizi is currently working as a Tech Program Manager at the LEGO Group since February 2023. Prior to that, in October 2022, they founded Hello Ada, a platform to encourage kids' interest in technology and support parents in increasing diversity in the field, particularly in AI.

In 2021, Nermeen co-founded Even Founders. Nermeen Louizi also served as a Selected Global Shaper & Team Lead at the World Economic Forum starting in December 2020, where they led a project focused on providing financial literacy courses to disadvantaged parts of society in Denmark.

Nermeen gained experience in different roles at Jabra from September 2020 to February 2023. Nermeen Louizi worked as a CX/AI Engineer, Product Owner, and Global Engineering Post-Graduate. At Microsoft, they were a Data Science Student Worker from June 2019 to August 2020 and a Visual Communication Student Worker from December 2017 to June 2019.

Nermeen Louizi also held positions at CPH:DOX, a documentary film festival, where they served as the Head of Volunteering from September 2017 to May 2019 and as a Volunteer Coordinator from September 2015 to August 2017.

At Techfestival, Nermeen worked as the Head Coordinator of cph150 Think Tank from August 2018 to September 2018, and as an Executive Assistant / Co-producer of cph150 Think Tank from August 2017 to August 2018.

Nermeen's earliest work experience was at inCell, where they were the Community and Online Media Manager, as well as the Head of Website Design and Development, for the 2017 iGEM team of the University of Copenhagen.

Prior to that, they worked as a Regulatory Affairs (RA) / Quality Assurance (QA) Student Assistant at Otometrics, a leading manufacturer of hearing and balance instrumentation and software, from October 2015 to December 2017.

Nermeen Louizi Ghoniem completed their education in the following chronological order:

From 2000 to 2014, they attended Prins Henriks Skole, Lycée Francais de Copenhague, where they obtained a Danish-French Baccalaureate degree in Science.

In 2013, they obtained the Certificat de Compétences de Citoyen de Sécurité Civile - Prévention et Secours Civiques de Niveau 1 (First Aid Course Certification) from Ministère de l'Intérieur.

In 2014, they earned the Certificate of Cambridge Advanced English Exam (CAE) from the University of Cambridge.

From 2014 to 2017, they studied at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they pursued Kommunikation og IT, specializing in Kommunikation og Medie Studier & Informationsteknologi.

In 2016, they attended The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for a brief period, but no specific degree was mentioned.

Lastly, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human-centered Artificial Intelligence from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
