Purushottam Kaushik is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of the Centre for Fourth Industrial Revolution in India at the World Economic Forum since March 2020. Prior to this, Purushottam held various leadership roles, including Head of Strategy, Transformation Initiatives, M&A, and Mega Deals at L&T Smart World & Communication from June 2018 to March 2020, and Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company focused on smart cities and infrastructure from December 2016 to June 2018. With a robust background at Cisco from March 2009 to August 2016, Purushottam led a $2 billion new business in smart cities and related initiatives. Earlier career highlights include positions at Nortel, Alcatel-Lucent, Punwire, and Larsen & Toubro. Purushottam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Production from Punjab Engineering College and an MBA in Marketing from Banaras Hindu University, along with advanced education from The Wharton School.
