Charnelle Etti

Charnelle Etti has extensive work experience in the social impact sector. Charnelle is currently the Director of Social Impact Operations and Chief of Staff at World Education Services, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief of Staff for Social Impact at the same company from March 2022 to January 2023.

Charnelle also worked at Tides as a Senior Advisor from February 2022 to March 2022 and as a Social Ventures Advisor from June 2019 to March 2022. Previously, they were the Head of HQ Operations at Alina Vision from July 2018 to 2019.

Charnelle's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Project Management Associate at Chemonics International from September 2016 to December 2017. Charnelle also worked as a Program Associate and Princeton in Africa Fellow at The Lutheran World Federation from September 2015 to September 2016.

Additionally, Charnelle served as a Teaching Assistant in International Politics at Macalester College from January 2015 to May 2015. Charnelle was also a Project Officer at Akina Mama wa Afrika from May 2014 to August 2014 and a Junior Project Officer at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota from January 2013 to December 2013.

Charnelle Etti pursued their education at several institutions. Charnelle attended the Harare International School from 2004 to 2009 for their high school education. Charnelle then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Political Science from Macalester College, which they completed between 2011 and 2015. Charnelle proceeded to Columbia University from 2018 to 2019, where they earned a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Charnelle participated in the Professional Development Program at the Emerging Leaders Princeton Alumni Corps.
