Shevani Khatri

Shevani Khatri is currently serving as a U.S. Program Associate for the Mariam Assefa Fund at World Education Services since January 2022, after completing an internship in the same fund. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at Hindus for Human Rights from January 2022 to July 2022 and serving as a Social Justice Advocate at UCLA Residential Life between October 2019 and June 2020, where workshops on social justice were designed and a safe learning environment was fostered for students. Additionally, Shevani interned at the World Trade Center Northern California, contributing to the International Visitor Leadership Program by drafting program proposals. Educationally, Shevani holds a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from UCLA and an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Sacramento City College.
