James MacNeil

Vice President at World Education

James MacNeil has a diverse range of work experience. James started their career as a Community Development Volunteer for the Peace Corps from 1987 to 1990. James then worked as a Program Manager for Population and Development International from 1994 to 1997. Since 2000, they have been working at World Education as the Vice President. In this role, they lead business development and strategy, overseeing education, youth development, microenterprise, and programs assisting persons with disabilities and victims of war in South and Southeast Asia. James also provides technical inputs in education policy analysis and research. Additionally, they have served as a Course Instructor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since 2019.
