Mike Gabriel serves as the Head of the Religious Liberty Commission at the Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka (EASL), leading initiatives on freedom of religion or belief since February 2011. With experience in managing projects focused on social cohesion and digital education related to religious freedom, Mike has developed strategies for youth engagement and advocacy as the former Head of the Youth Wing. Additionally, Mike holds the position of Research and Coordinating Officer for the World Evangelical Alliance, concentrating on religious liberty research, training for persecuted faith communities, and developing advocacy briefs for international institutions. Academically, Mike possesses a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of Colombo, a Bachelor's degree in Management Studies from the Open University of Sri Lanka, and a Diploma in Human Rights from the Institute of Human Rights in Colombo.
