Marc-Ivar Magnus

Marc-Ivar Magnus is an accomplished legal and operational expert currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry since March 2010. Magnus has held multiple roles within the organization, including Vice President of Trade, Corporate Responsibility, and Legal, as well as Trade and Corporate Responsibility Manager and Project Coordinator. Additionally, Magnus is an Advisory Council Member at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights and serves on the Board of Fair Factories Clearinghouse. Magnus holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law and Legal Studies from the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, as well as master's degrees in the same field from both the University of Bern and the University of Oslo.

The WFSGI is the global, not-for-profit trade association for the sporting goods industry. WFSGI is officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the industry representative within the Olympic Movement.
