Aldo Spaini is an experienced supply chain and logistics professional with a robust background in humanitarian operations. Currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain Sustainability and Senior Supply Chain Officer at the World Food Programme since February 2014, Aldo has also held various leadership positions within the organization, including Head of Key Account Management, Head of Goods and Services Procurement Branch, and Head of Logistics Cluster. Prior roles include Deputy Chief for Common Logistics Services during the Ebola response and Head of Logistics. Aldo's career at the World Food Programme began in November 2003, after which significant expertise was developed in logistics and procurement. Aldo holds an MBA from London Business School and dual degrees in Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
