Andrew Sinyangwe

Andrew Sinyangwe, MBA, has a strong background in agricultural and food sector management and consulting. Andrew is currently working as a Programme Policy Officer - Technical Lead at the World Food Programme, where they focus on establishing and managing partnerships in post-harvest handling, storage, markets, and logistics domains. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Managing Director/Co-Founder at Blenati Academy, where they played a key role in the company's operations. Andrew also worked as a Consultant (Manager- Food and Agriculture Sector) at Prospero Zambia. Before that, Andrew held various positions at Musika, including Manager - Agricultural Technologies, Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist, Environmental Stewardship Specialist, and Researcher - Market Systems. Additionally, they served as a Board Treasurer at the Zambia Monitoring and Evaluation Association. Andrew's earlier experience includes working as a Programmes Officer at CUTS International and as a Trainee Logistics and Operations Officer at Alliance One.

Andrew Sinyangwe, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The University of Zambia, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from The University of Zambia, which they completed from 2005 to 2010. Furthermore, Andrew Sinyangwe earned a degree in Agriculture with a focus on Agricultural Economics from the University of Zambia during the same period. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various fields such as high-performance habits, private sector development, international organizations management, and value chain program design.
