Carolina Contesti

Carolina Contesti is a seasoned professional in occupational safety and health, currently serving as the Global Occupational Safety and Health Risk Manager at the World Food Programme since 2018, where Carolina has been instrumental in developing and implementing the OSH Management System across over 110 countries, impacting more than 23,000 personnel. Previously, Carolina held the position of EHS Manager EMEA at Imerys, where objectives, KPIs, and action plans were meticulously defined and executed. At General Electric, Carolina oversaw the EHS final stage for an 860MW Power Plant, while from 2005 to 2015, Carolina led EHS functions for The Mosaic Company across Latin American sites. Carolina's educational background includes a Master of Occupational Health and Safety from UNR, a Master of Integrated Management Systems from the European Social Fund, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Renewable Energy from MIT, among other qualifications.
