Giovanni Espinosa

Giovanni Espinosa is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various high-level positions. Currently serving as Head of Finance at the World Food Programme since March 2022, Giovanni has previously held significant roles such as Gerente de Operaciones y Fortalecimiento del Sector Financiero Popular y Solidario at BanEcuador Oficial and Gerente General at Empresa Nacional Minera - ENAMI EP. Giovanni's expertise includes risk management and financial operations, demonstrated through positions at the Superintendencia de Bancos Ec., where responsibilities included oversight of banking regulations, and as an advisor at the Ministerio de Coordinación de la Producción, Empleo y Competitividad. Giovanni has also contributed significantly to the World Bank, coordinating finance for the Andean Department.
