Netsanet Regassa

Netsanet Regassa is a finance professional with extensive experience in budgeting, programming, and financial management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Budget and Programming Associate at the World Food Programme since September 2023, Netsanet previously worked as a Finance Assistant at the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Finance Officer at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp, where responsibilities included budgeting and planning, internal control, and procurement support. Additional roles span program accounting and general accounting positions at Handicap International, AHADA, Horn of Africa Evangelical Mission, and Afro-Tsion Construction, with early experience as a Graduate Assistant at Haremaya University. Netsanet holds an MBA in Finance from Addis Ababa University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Gondar, and is actively pursuing ACCA certification.
