Peter Scott-Bowden is a seasoned professional in disaster management and international relations with extensive experience at the World Food Programme (WFP). Currently serving as UN Senior Advisor since September 2023, Scott-Bowden has held various impactful roles at WFP from September 1993 to April 2020, including positions as Senior Advisor (Director) to the Central Emergency Response Fund, Representative and Country Director, and Disaster Manager, where notable emergency operations spanned regions such as Afghanistan, Sarajevo, East Timor, Kosovo, and Indonesia during the tsunami crisis.
