Srabasti Sarker

Srabasti Sarker is a highly experienced communications professional with a diverse background in international organizations, currently serving as a Communications, Training and Outreach Consultant in the Ethics Office at the World Food Programme since September 2024. Prior roles at the World Food Programme included Communications Officer in the Finance Division, where initiatives such as the Finance Communication Workplan and development of key reports and thematic communication plans were undertaken. Srabasti's experience also encompasses roles focused on engagement and knowledge management, information management, and logistics during emergency responses. Additional experience includes commitment-making for the Clinton Global Initiative University, mediation advisory at the World Bank's Compliance Advisor Ombudsman, and leadership roles at Smith College, where expertise in social justice mediation and event organization were demonstrated. Educational accomplishments include degrees from Smith College and Central European University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of the Atlantic.
