Dayanandh Devendran

Dayanandh Devendran has extensive work experience in the software engineering and development field. Dayanandh started their career in 2004 as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Keane India Ltd, where they oversaw a team of developers and handled technical specifications, extensions, and migration projects.

In 2008, they joined Marlabs Inc as a Software Development Consultant, where they developed inbound and outbound interface programs for updating work order statuses and sourcing rule extraction.

From 2008 to 2017, they worked at World Fuel Services as a Senior Technical Lead, collaborating with onsite and offshore teams to complete various projects such as workflow solutions, oracle forms customization, and implementing Watson fuel and lubes solutions.

Since 2017, Dayanandh has been a Senior Software Engineering Manager at World Fuel Services, leading multiple teams of engineers in developing and maintaining AWS cloud-native front-end applications. This role also involves focusing on user experience growth by utilizing tools like HotJar and integration with customer feedback platforms.

In their current position as Director of Cloud Engineering and Productivity at World Fuel Services, they are responsible for shaping the roadmap and strategic vision for their teams. Dayanandh focuses on streamlining code deployment, enhancing developer experience, and delivering a seamless experience in a complex enterprise landscape.

Dayanandh Devendran obtained an MBA degree from the University of Florida between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras, completing it from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they acquired certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in December 2020.
