Araf Reshad is a highly engaged individual with significant experience in health science, research, and education. Serving as the Hosa Canada National Officer for Competitive Events since August 2022, Araf hosts Canada's largest health science competition for over 5,000 students. Concurrently, Araf holds a research intern position at the World Health Organization and has been the Head of Outreach on the Board of Directors for Universal Finance Organization since October 2021. Araf's previous research roles include working at SQUARE HOSPITALS LTD, where Araf co-authored a scientific paper on Avascular Necrosis in COVID-19 patients, and serving as a research assistant at Harvard University. Araf has also participated in groundbreaking research at The New York Academy of Sciences. Educationally, Araf is pursuing a high school diploma and further learning opportunities at The Knowledge Society, alongside prior education from Kitchener Waterloo Collegiate and Vocational School and Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute.
