Flavio Aggio

Flavio Aggio serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the World Health Organization since December 2014, leading global initiatives to protect digital assets through governance, risk management, and security operations. Prior experience includes serving as CISO and Head of Enterprise Architecture at WHO/OMS with a focus on enhancing enterprise architecture and information security functions. Flavio has also held the role of Chief Technology Officer for the City and County of San Francisco, overseeing technology project delivery, and worked as a Global Information Technology Senior Manager at D&M Holdings, improving global infrastructure initiatives. Additional roles include Director of Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture at ASML, and various IT positions at The Dow Chemical Company and Rohm and Haas. Flavio holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
