Janet Diaz

Janet Diaz is an experienced medical professional specializing in critical care and pulmonary medicine, currently serving as Team Lead and Project Manager for the Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) Training Course at the World Health Organization. Previous roles include Critical Care and Pulmonary Physician Consultant at California Pacific Medical Center and Consultant in Intensive Care and Pulmonary Medicine at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. Additionally, Janet Diaz held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, where also served as Medical Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at San Francisco General Hospital. Earlier in their career, Janet Diaz was a Research Fellow at UCSF after earning an MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and a BA in History from Duke University.
