Rita Tayeh

Rita Tayeh currently serves as the MHPSS Technical Working Group Coordinator at the World Health Organization since June 2024. Previously, Rita held various roles at the International Medical Corps from November 2021 to June 2024, including MHPSS Technical Manager and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Integration Project Manager. Additional experience includes working as a Quality Right Assessor for the National Mental Health Programme and as a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Coordinator at Amel Association International. Rita's background encompasses extensive work as a psychomotor therapist across several institutions, focusing on children with learning disabilities and elderly patients with conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Rita holds a University Diploma in Development and Organization of Mental Health Services from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and a Master's degree in Neuropsychology from the Neuroscience Research Center at Lebanese University.
