Ugnė Gadžijeva

Ugnė Gadžijeva is a seasoned professional in public health and data management, currently serving as Head of the Health Information Centre, Head of the Registries Department, and Head of the Children's Health Monitoring Information System at Higienos institutas since October 2017. Ugnė manages various health information systems, including the Children's Health Monitoring Information System and the Occupational Diseases Registry, and engages in analytical work with confidential health data. Ugnė also contributes to international efforts as a member of the UNICEF-WHO-World Bank Joint Child Malnutrition Estimates Working Group and the European Occupational Diseases Statistics Working Group at Eurostat. Ugnė’s professional background includes expertise in health data analysis and program coordination for HIV/AIDS and STI prevention at the Ministry of Health Lithuania. Ugnė holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and a Master's degree in Administration of Health Care Institutions from Mykolas Romeris University.
