Penelope Pena has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Penelope began their career at Verizon in 1997, where they worked as a Quality Engineer, Executive Instructor, and later an Account Manager. In 2001, they joined PMR Technologies as an Operations Manager and stayed there until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Professional Aviation Management as a Talent Acquisition Manager for LAN Airlines & LAN Cargo. Pena then served as the Human Resources Director at the same company from 2008 to 2017. Their most recent position is at World Fuel Services, where they started in 2017 as an HRBP, Senior Director before being promoted to the role of VP, Global Talent in October 2021.
Penelope Pena obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 2006-2007. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo from 1993-1997.
