Robin West

Robin West has extensive experience in telecommunications and network operations, currently serving as Country Lead and Country Network Manager at World Mobile Group, focusing on network startup and rollout in Zanzibar and East Africa since November 2021. Previous roles include Executive Director at Novacom Group and Market Development at WORLD. Notably, Robin has been instrumental as a Technical Consultant at Viettel Cameroun, overseeing various technical and operational services. As Managing Director at Sincro Sitewatch, responsibilities encompassed managing telecom infrastructure and achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification. Roles at Millicom and Helios Towers further demonstrated proficiency in network service assurance and tower management, respectively. Robin holds a Higher National Diploma in Micro Electronics and Telecommunication from Tideway Comprehensive, obtained between 1971 and 1977.
