Simone Oehler

Simone Oehler has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Simone started their career at TU Berlin as a Dipl.-Ing. from March 2005 to March 2010. Simone then joined Ottobock as the Head of the testing department from April 2010 to October 2018, and later became the Director of Verification from October 2018 to December 2022. In 2022, they moved on to work at W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE GmbH as the Director of Design Assurance, and also joined Novanta Inc. as the Director of Design Assurance MIS, both of which they currently hold.

Simone Oehler has a strong educational background in engineering and medical technology. Simone obtained their Dr.-Ing. / PhD in mechanical engineering and medical engineering from Technische Universität Berlin between 2005 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom in biomedical engineering at Technische Universität Berlin from 2001 to 2005. Simone also earned a certificate of proficiency in medical technology and biomechanics from The University of Auckland from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they completed their Vordiploma in mechanical engineering at TU Bergakademie Freiberg from 1999 to 2001. Recently, Simone Oehler obtained a certification in Finance for Non-Finance Executives from the London Business School in 2022.
