Supply Chain Transformation Research Lead at World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia

Shofia Saleh is an experienced professional in environmental research and sustainable commodities, currently serving as the Supply Chain Transformation Research Lead at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia since November 2017. In this role, Shofia manages a portfolio of smallholders and conducts research on sustainable palm oil while facilitating oil palm smallholders in achieving RSPO certification. Prior to WRI, Shofia worked as a researcher at Institut Penelitian Inovasi Bumi (INOBU), focusing on commodity analysis and the environmental impacts of oil palm expansion, among other studies. Previous positions include supporting a seaweed-based biogas power plant feasibility study with BPPT and various roles in journalism and project consulting. Shofia holds a Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
