Carolyn Neunuebel

Carolyn Neunuebel is a highly skilled research associate with extensive experience in climate, economics, and sustainable finance. Currently serving at the World Resources Institute, Carolyn employs rigorous research methods to explore how international financial institutions can assist governments in achieving economic development alongside climate and biodiversity objectives. Previously, Carolyn worked at the OECD, where contributions focused on enhancing finance for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and integrating environmental action. Throughout a diverse career, Carolyn has held positions at various organizations, including Oxfam, Trinity College Dublin, and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, conducting research, managing projects, and analyzing policy issues. Carolyn holds two Master of Science degrees in Development Economics and International Development from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
