Jonathan Akpapunam

Jon is WRI’s Development Operations Specialist. He assists the Gift Administrator with revenue processing and database management. Jon is also responsible for institutional and donor communications, knowledge management, and administrative support to the Directors of Development Operations, Corporate Relations, and WRI’s European Office Director.

Prior to joining WRI, Jon interned for Corporate Citizenship, a global corporate sustainability consultancy, providing research support for several client projects. He also helped drive development for the City Parks Alliance and interned in the renewable energy sector.

Jon holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Economics from Denison University.

Jon is a music and sports lover, always interested in trying new things.
