Michael Kolie has work experience starting in 2006 as an intern at UNIDO. Michael then worked as a research assistant at WTO in 2007. In 2008, they became a lecturer at Université Blaise Pascal and a junior economist at IRAM-DEVELOPPEMENT. Michael continued their career as an occasional lecturer at ISTOM, Ecole supérieure d'agro développement international and université paris sorbonne nouvelle in 2009 and 2010 respectively. In 2010, they joined the World Trade Organization as a trade policy analyst.
Michael Kolie's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Gamal Abdel Nasser. Michael earned a Master's degree in Economics from this institution in 2003. In 2004, they enrolled in the Université d'Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand I) CERDI, where they pursued a Magistere, Masters of Science in Development Economics with an emphasis on Trade and Development. Michael completed this program in 2006. The following year, from 2006 to 2007, Michael Kolie attended Université d'Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand I) CERDI once again, achieving a Master's degree in Economic Analysis and International Development. In 2015, they participated in executive summer courses at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on the macroeconomic challenges of global imbalances.
